Another cookie from Sunapee

I took Wednesday off to ski Sunapee, their 2-for-1 day.  At the usual 11 a.m. hour, I headed into the upper lodge for a "cookie and coffee" break.  It was quite busy at that hour because it was c-o-l-d, and there were quite a few people sitting around the fireplace.  At the top it was minus 8F at 9:00, though it did get warmer through the day with a temperture near 20F by day's end.

I tried a new cookie.  This is Sunapee's peanut butter cookie.  I give it a "highly recommended".

Not a cloud in the sky, all day.  That's Lake Sunapee in the distance.  Also, you can
make out Mt. Washington (barely) on the horizon.

A Nice Day of Skiing on Thursday

I took a solo trip to Sunapee on Thursday, after the 12" snow dump on Wednesday.  Cold but beautiful.  The obligatory coffee and cookie break at 11 a.m. resulted in the purchase of this mighty nice chocolate chunk cookie (second picture below).  I can't believe I ate the whole thing... well, yes I think I can.
