Ribs: Moguls Sports Pub

Quite a cooker (smoker? grille?)  Moguls pub is along the Killington access road, right across the street from Inn at Six Mountains, where we stayed.

More Killington Hay Scultpures

The other day I posted images of the Pink Panther made from bales of hay.  Below are a few more hay scultpures, put up by various commercial enterprises along the Killington access road.

Laurie's birthday dinner

No time to cook tonight.  Thanks go to Whole Foods (for the carrot cake we didn't have room for... maybe tomorrow), Kimball Farm (for the "Almond Joy" ice cream) and Cafe Luigi's (for the Shrimp Verdicchio and Chicken Caesar Salad).

I wish you could smell the Shrimp Verdicchio.  It is unbelievable.  Sauted shrimp with white wine,  mushrooms, black olives, sundried tomatoes, and artichoke hearts.  Mmmm.  It's becoming a birthday tradition.

Kimball Farm will be open for about three more weeks.

The building of a hay sculpture

While in Vermont for a long weekend a couple of weeks ago, we had some fun watching this hay sculpture being created by the owner of Charities, a restaurant on the Killington access road.

That's a lot of pink spray paint!

Coffee and a donut.

We found this selection at a pretty fancy gas station convenience store in Woodstock, VT.  Even with this many choices, I didn't have to look too far down the row to find my basic "French Roast".

Prefer Iced Coffee"

Mmmm.  Fresh donuts.

What do you do when this happens?

We can't be the only ones who've found ourselves in this situation.  It happens to me about once a year.  What are you supposed to do?  (Just to get your bearing right, I took the picture while driving but while stopped.)
